With its crystal clear, blue waters tossing and kissing its long stretch of white-sand shores, Sihanoukville, also known as Kampong Som, is a perfect place for a refreshing tropical beach getaway after having been impressed by the majesty of Siem Reap and the bustling city life of Phnom Penh. This a strategic jump-off place for a diving trip to see the coral-encrusted rocky reefs surrounding the islands just off the shore. It boasts of the vastness and diversity of its marine life, probably one of the bests you will ever see. It is also a perfect place for snorkeling, sailing, fishing and water sports opportunities that would definitely give you a rush! You can also prefer to just lay back enjoy getting a sun-tan, and then maybe opt for a nice seafood dinner under the Cambodian sky. After all, a nice beach jaunt always completes a dream vacation!
